Tenure-Track Position at the Rank of Assistant Professor

The Department of Statistics in the College of Arts and Sciences at Indiana University in Bloomington invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor.  All areas of statistics will be considered, with special consideration given to the areas of Bayesian, high-dimensional, and nonparametric data analysis.  Applicants are expected to have an active research program and a commitment to teaching excellence.  A Ph.D. in statistics or a related field is required.

Created in 2006, IU's Department of Statistics currently offers both graduate and undergraduate degree programs and maintains the Indiana Statistical Consulting Center.  The usual teaching load for core faculty members is 3 courses per year.  More information about the department can be found at its website: http://www.stat.indiana.edu.
