We're thrilled to announce that two Statistics faculty members - Daniel McDonald and Brad Luen - have been selected to receive 2017 Trustees Teaching Awards. The awards were decided by a committee chaired by Associate Executive Dean Lisa Pratt. Statistics competed in a pool of 12 small departments for 6 at-large tenure-track awards, and in a pool of all but 5 large departments for 5 at-large nontenure-track awards. That Statistics received 2 of the 11 at-large awards is really quite remarkable.
